Two fabulous NYC events!
So New Yorkers looking for a good time would do well to check out these two events:
Tomorrow (thursday) April 6th at the Beauty Bar, 231 E. 14th street at 10pm, is the book release party for Christy Road's new book Indestructible, about "misfit queer punk junky teenagers surviving the early 90's", published by everyone's favorite punk rock, independent press, Microcosm. The flier promises "A celebration of early nineties teen sluts" and "fist pumping, groin grinding, rock n roll jams." Sounds fun! riffRAG will see you there!
If you haven't had enough fun and dancing, on Friday April 7th, head to Local Project in Long Island City, for their 3rd Anniversary and benefit party with dance music provided by DJ Glide. Local Project is a fabulous and exciting community gallery space committed to building a forum for artists and creating synergy between their work and the public. riffRAG will be collaborating with in the future and we are totaly psyched. Local Project is located at 21-36 44th road in LIC and easily reached by the 7 and G trains- for directions see their website.
