Insoo Chun
After Rain & Fall

Insoo Chun uses traditional Korean artistic techniques and materials such as painting on silk and rice paper with mineral pigments to render detailed, precise paintings of the natural world. She employs images from Korean mythology and culture and compositional elements from classical Asian art in her artwork, creating a bold and modern body of work that remains in dialogue with traditional Korean art.
