Mother May I
My work focuses primarily on the transformation
of personal spaces into surreal landscapes of life. The majority
of my ideas are born out of memories and spaces from my childhood,
from contact with the loved ones in my life, or from my surrounding
environment. I enjoy finding beauty in the surreal, the unusual,
and the awkward; to find out what happens to the visual and emotional
aesthetic when we take things out of their natural spaces and put
them where they traditionally don't belong.

live in Brewer, Maine with my favorite person and our two cats. I'm
currently a student at the University of Maine, working toward a
BA in New Media. Photography started as a hobby a little over three
years ago and has become a major part of my life. View other work
