Christy C. Road
Remember Freedom? & State-Sanctioned Terrorism

Coming from a framework of political art by-way-of-punk-rock, this piece was initially created for punk band cover art. However, the nature of the concept is a means to go beyond subcultural confines. As an illustrator, my aim is to make ideas accesible. I try to avoid anything too personal for the sake of sharing widespread ideas. In the vein of my affair with painfully obvious concepts, State-Sanctioned Terrorism is a portrait of domestic violence in one of its most legal forms.
