Arlene TextaQueen
Textanude of Danae & Textanude of Starr and Latitia

"Texta" is Australian for felt-tip marker and I am Arlene the TextaQueen, Australia’s felt-tipped super-heroine complete with costume and theme song. My Textanudes are females drawn naked in their own habitats - friends and performers I admire, each chosen for their unique presence and rendered in life-size felt-tip line and color. Together we chose accessories, surroundings, and poses that reflect their persona or performance character. Finally, I take a quote from our conversation, their lyrics, or reading literature during the exchange that draws it all together.

Danae, is a fangin’ fashionably conscious friend of mine. Her main fetish is the V8 hoon-mobile she lounges on in this drawing: Holden Torana, one of Australia’s classic rev-head cars. Danae can run, dance, and drive her V8 in stilettos.

From my Friends 4 Life series, Starr and Letitia pose amid the wreckage of their tandem twin-speed. Starr and Tits are a pair of image-conscious, sexually-challenged, gourmet, and fast-food loving cesspit dwellers. They have nothing else in common.
